wont matter sock_man its a browser hijacker, meant to set your homepage to a certain site. Why the hijacker is sending you to an about: blank page is very confusing. Tell AdAware to run when your computer boots. Restart your computer (you can do this with SP2 too) and when beofore any processes other then windows can load themselves it should run. What it does is when you restart your computer and windows is loaded the scan will start. The scan prevents any other processes frim loading up. SO the spyware (more specifically the browser hicjacker) does not have time to load and hide itself inside your computer because adaware or sp2 will find it before it hides.
