AA and AF Helpzor ! o.o

I am looking into a budget SLI $600 US gaming rig.

Can someone enlighten me on AA and AF? Thanks

AA is Anti aliasing which makes the polygons in the game more smooth and blended when turned on. so when AA is on 2x or 8x it requires more card power

AF or ansiotropic filtering makes things in the distance more clear instead of it being blurry.
