Just brought a new Mobo and CPU upgrade.
A8N-SLI Premium.
AMD Athlon XP3000+ 1800MHz (real)
2 x 512MB of PC3200 RAM.
Now why cant I overclock this chip? Is the memory holding it back? Cause I know people that have this 939 Socket CPU running at 2500MHZ stable! The most I can get out of it is 2100MHz and after that it reduces my memory speeds to 333Mhz. If I go further then the Mobo reduces the memory speeds down to 266MHz!
Until I get a AMD Athlon FX60 or AMD Athlon XP64 4800+, i'm gonna see how far I can take this baby.
Help me out please??
