a64: 3000/3200 ?

Get the 3200+. If you have enough cooling power, you can overclock it to a 3500+ as Kage as said.

but im probably gonna toss the processor once i save more money to get a dual core, or whatever amd decides throw against conroe.

everybody's saying amd has something special planned. i bet it wont be too great. no big deal. im still gonna get it.



and geeze, 2.4ghz! from 1.8. thats still a hella big oc.

3dgameman got his 3000+ from 1.8ghz to 2.7ghz stable, (however it was water cooled.)

oh, im def not going water. too expensive. and too risky. knowing my luck, i would short my board within 2 minutes of starting to put it together. lol
