When did it come out? I just saw it on newegg. I'm thinking about buying 1

it came out a couple of days ago, i didnt notice it when i was lurking newegg the other day but then i searched the site (just in case) and i found it, now they have more publicity about it on newegg.

ther real expensive dude, but im thinking these can max crysis, i dont think anybodys done it yet

They are very expensive compared to the HD 3870X2.

I expected it to be more expensive though like the ultra. It's still expensive, and I still want 1 lol

I don't personally think its worth it.
Wait until the real next gen card comes out, because its basically an SLI card but together as one, so expect to find some games to run rather poorly on the technology.

I should stick with the old school 8800GTS 640MB in this computer for now?

If you have the money and absolutely have to have the fastest card in the world, go for it.

You would probably be better off staying with your 8800GTS until the prices come down a bit though.

The 9800GTX seems to be a completely pointless card. It hardly performs any better than the 8800GTS G92 and it's probably going to cost a fair bit more. I think G92 had almost reached it's limits with the 8800GT. I don't think I'll upgrade until AMD's RV770 which sounds amazing.
