Default 7900gt

I have an EvGa 7900Gt. and I was just looking at the clock speeds(stock), and they aren't that great...

They are Core 500mhz memory 750mhz.

It runs all my games fine but the 7600GT has higher clock speeds than mine!

clock arent everything the 7600GT is only 128-bit and the 7900GT is 256-bit i belive but then again i could be totally wrong. also the 7900GT core and the 7600GT core is COMPLETELY different. the 7900GT has way more transistors which makes it more efficent. maybe you can try to OC to higher speeds

The 7600GT uses the G73 core. Your 7900GT uses the G70 core, which is better.

Ok. I was worried lol. I was like uhhh why are my speeds so slow but still get 300fps in source..

So they are normal clock speeds?

Your 7900 will do more more per clock compared to the 7600.
