Default 780ti Questions

Okay I just wanted to know which would be a better choice a Nvidia reference designed 780ti, or a different company's custom designed cooler?

I'm not a hardware guy but I think you will have to be more specific in regards to which other cooler you are looking at.

Never mind everyone I just decided to go with the Newegg.com - ASUS DirectCU II GTX780TI-DC2OC-3GD5 GeForce GTX 780 Ti 3GB 384-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 HDCP Ready SLI Support Video Card

It had amazing reviews, was slightly cheaper than some other ones, and its from Asus.

custom coolers are always better than reference coolers. asus, evga, and gigabyte all have badass custom coolers. I like gigabyte the best. Beefed up pcb, 3 fan cooling solution that is really cool and quiet, and its not much more expensive than a reference card.
