Default 7800GTX, ATI X1800 or wait for G72

i was planning on getting the 7800gtx but ive been hearing great things about the ati X1800. i also read a little about the new nvidia GPU coming out "early 2006" so i was thinking about maybe getting a gfx card to get me by for now then get one of the new G72 cards. what do you guys think?

Most likely, the 7800GTX will still be a top notch video card despite all that's coming out. Seems like we can never catch up to modern technology. Seems like the 7800GTX just barely came out, then all of sudden, we hear great things about new upcoming video cards due now or in a few months.

ati X1800

Reason:

Because it has Higher setting and easy Twaeking Tools for the G'card.

I saw an article.. although I forgot where.... that if you oc the x1800 it does better than sli.

That's right. The X1800 XT is one overclocking mofo. A single X1800 XT overclocked can beat TWO stock 7800 GTX's in SLI, for half the price. Now imagine that in CrossFire...oh baby.

You know what's better, the GPU in the XBOX360, now that's an insane chip.
