7800gt or gtx?

is there a 100$ differance in the performance of the 7800GT and the 7800GTX? im planning on buying one and was wanting to get the best deal. the ones im looking at the only real differance that i can see from the specs is the memory clock speed is 100mhz for the GTX and the core clock is 20mhz slower but it has 4 more pixal pipelines than the GT...so again, is it worth it?

you could try to unlock the pipes. basically the $100 is guaranteeing you the extra 4 pipes

but lets say that i don't wanna risk unlocking the extra pipes b/c i have no experience w/ that and don't wanna risk it....is 4 pipes worth 100$?

I have the 7800 gt and it plays every game I own maxed out with no problems so I dont really think you need to spend the extra money on a gtx, but it is always cool to say you own a gtx
