nah, not really. what do you want to do? game? go to cyberpowerpc.com and check out their custom configs. some are cheap, you might find a good buy

daily tasks. <i>maybe</i> gaming. mostly multitasking.

my main q's were (at this price):
intel vs amd
ati vs nvidia

also, if i go intel: i dont know what all the chipsets mean.
