59 Fps In Cs On A 6800 Gs!? Something Wrong!?

Counter strike 1.6 ---> 59 FPS oO? SOmethign wrong? did i not configure my graphics correctly? Please help GURUS! THANKS!

Trying running fraps when playing. Also, reinstall the drivers. And while you're doing that, check the settings. Make sure no background tasks are running.

im sure the drivers are correct, when i ran 3d mark it said hyper transport not detected?. Do i have to enable it manually?

Check Vsync. If its on, it can drastically reduce FPS...

Hyper Threading for me seems to actually help. I don't know, but for me Hyper Threading has always been a huge plus. I would leave it on.

try going into the game console by pressing ~ and typing in "fpsmax 100" without the quotes
