Default 58xx-CF vs GTX295

Just seeing what the community thinks.

58xx series in CF vs single GTX295.
Clocked up or stock, which would take the lead?

A single HD 5870 is as fast as the GTX 295.

ATI has dropped the X2 nomenclature for dual GPU cards
its now just going to be the 5970 pics in the wild
so
enjoy the drool worthy pics
and 5970s in crossfire would knock the socks off of everything

There have been many reviews showing that the 5870 can be equal to the performance of the GTX 295. In some games the 295 beats it, in others the 5870 beats the 295.

HD 5850 Crossfire, not quite...

but HD 5870 Crossfire, definitely.

A single HD 5870 card is approximately 70% of GTX 295 Performance, from the benchmark testing, so 2 HD 5870 definitely takes the lead.
