Default 4ghzs Q6600- What Next?

Hi Lads/Ladies

Finished building my rig awile ago, however I have money burning a hole in my pocket and feel I need more (Especially GPU)

Current specs are:

Q6600 @ 4ghzs
G Skill PC2-8000C5 @ 1066mhzs (5-5-5-15)
Maximus Formula x38
x1900xtx 512mb
36gb Raptor
2x500gb Hitachi in Raid 0
1000w Antec Quattro

Cooling:
XSPC Triple Rad
D5 Vaio 12v Pump
Tygon 1/2" Tubing
D-Tek Fuzion CPU Block
D-Tek Fuzion GPU Block

Now options are:
1xGTX 280 XFX XXX
or
2x4870

Then add new d-tek fuzion waterblock to extra card + Northbridge cooling + Mosfet cooling

Anyone any idea of good Northbridge cooling for a Asus Maximus Formula x38 board?

Here are some pictures as well :P

(Building Stages)

(Finished)

I'd personally get an ATI 4870. Its just as fast as the 280 in a lot of tests, but it's a lot quieter, and uses a lot less power.

Thats a sweet build dude.

I'm looking to water cool my set up when I upgrade.

Good choice of case by-the-way. Same as mine. Did you mod the side panel yourself?

GPU choice....

HD 4870 X2

Thanks for all of the replies guys! Think I may go for the 2x4870's, The case window wasn't actually modded by me, actually bought the case window with the coolmaster stacker case, however I believe you can buy them from:

I did benching runs on my old Q6600 3.825GHz, but that was on air cooling. What Vcore do you require for 4GHz, and what's your VID? Mine was 1.275V.

Quote:
1xGTX 280 XFX XXX
or
2x4870
2 4870s will destroy the 280, and the HD 4870 X2 will uber destroy it.
