4870

Is it still one of the best? I'm going to get one now. I know I can't go wrong with an x2, but will just a 4870 be ok for running dual monitors? One will be a 24" and one will probably be a 22".... The cheapest I found one was $250.

Or should I just wait until after Christmas? Price may go down

At that price you can't go wrong with an HD 4870. The GTX 280 does outperform it in some tests, but at considerable increase in price.

Prices may go down after Christmas, but I wouldn't hold my breath.

Sapphire is a good brand for ATI cards
Get this one, you get an instant saving of $40 and its the same price as the other sapphire linked on the site, but this one has an extra heatpipe or two, so its worth it.

NICE! My 24" doesn't go that high! It's at 1920xwhatever.. or is that how high my vid card will allow it? Hm, anyway, thanks. I ordered!
