Default 4850 VS the 9800GTX+

which one is better in gaming?

The 9800GTX+ and HD 4850 are around equal at <1600x1200 res without AA or AF. At or above 1600x1200, with full AA and AF, the HD 4850 pulls ahead and widens the gap as you go up the resolutions.

8.9 is a noticeable improvement, I've found. The 9800GTX+ may see some small improvements if Nvidia can get some games on PhysX.
