Default 4 Monitors, 1 PC, 1 Game

Hello Ladies and Gentlemen,

My name is Level (my actual name, isnt that sad?)

Well anyways There is something that I would REALLY like to do but have NO idea how to go about it and from checking a few other topics it seems like there are some extremely smart people here that may be able to help me.

Well, there I have 4 monitors connected to my one custom built PC.

I play alot of games but there is one particular game that I want to not only go full screen on my main monitor but to go full screen across ALL monitors.
The game I want to do this with is Ultima Online.

Any help is greatly appreciated. If there would have to some serious time dedication and coding in order to get this to work I am willing to pay for someone to do it all, but it must work before payment is made OR you can record proof of it working on a 4 monitor system and then I will pay to recieve the program.

If it is fairly simple, then I can definately handle any advice given since I have been a computer geek for 15 years so I am definately computer adept. I just cant figure this out. The UO client can be downloaded for free if that is needed in order to find a way to do it. Tips will be paid to the main or all contributers if paypal email addresss is included in your post
.

THANK YOU IN ADVANCE

can't you minimize the game a little smaller and drag it across?

It wont let me resize it to be bigger than how it is prespecified, even if I could the actualy game window remains the same size with a black background. Heres a pic for an example:

I don't think you can drag a browser window over 4 screens.
I could be wrong tho

Easy.

You have a nVIDIA 7600GT graphics card and if you have the correct driver then you should be able to select in the nVIDIA menu what you want to display on the monitors.

If it doesn't work in the nVIDIA software try setting the displays in the windows display menu.

In either menu you should be able to select whether you want to extend your screen across all the monitors, like a panoramic view, or to display the desktop on each monitor.

The latter will give you what you want.

no i just thought, if you did that the game would be out of sync by miles, the game just ain't been improved for what you want it for.

i have the same setup but with 2 moniters and some of my programs do the same, the size will not expand because it will not look right, you'll see big patches i'd imgine

I've never done gaming over multiple monitors, but I have tried to view a video just for the heck of it over 2 of my monitors and one side of the player would be blacked out if I dragged it over in between monitors. I'd imagine you might have the same results if playing a game over multiple monitors that's not made for it... Not sure though.

ok no experience in gaming over multiple monitors but have experience with multiple monitors in general,

my best advice would be to play around in nvidias control panel, for my 2 monitors i have 2 main settings i use, exteneded. 2 seperate deskops, if i maximise it full screens 1 of them, and i forgot what he other ones called lol, it might be stretched where if i maximise it sretches across both screens

I can see from your screenshot you use nview. I use that on two monitors and can stretch any window across borders. You must check the box in the nview manager that says "Enable window spanning across multiple displays" and "Enable child window spanning across multiple displays" in the Windows tab.

I see no reason why that cannot be extended to four displays. For applications it doesn't stretch the content, it dynamically updates it (e.g. dragging this window all the way across gives a long single line post instead of 4 or 5 lines, it doesn't degrade quality - else what would be the point of multi-display spanning!)

I've already got both of those enabled...

Also even if the game *was* expandable instead of maximized (which it will not let me do) the actual game screen would remain the same size.

I only see two options for me, tricking my computer to think that all four of my monitors are a single monitor or messing around with the games code which I believe unless done perfectly the game would repatch the edited file.
