Default 3GHZ Socket 939 AMD 64's

This is pretty sweet. The socket 939 opterons can be overclocked to 3ghz quite easily, and look how cheap it is. Heres somebody talking about it.

Here's the funny thing. If Opterons are so cheap and packs such a performance, how come no one has it? Wouldn't you think gamers would want the Opterons then?

and plus, the other Opterons like the 846 are server desiged. If you buy a server for gaming...well that's stupid. That's why the popularity isn't as great as the AMD64s. Although, lots of people uses it, as ownage said

actually, the S939 opterons use a more refined San Diego core, so it will do just as well as a SD in gaming.

Wouldn't Opterons be good for gaming due to the fact that they can operate at a higher frequencys and higher cache? I've always thought the higher end Athlon 64s and X2 4400+ and the 4800+ was excellent for overall performance and gaming.

Opterons have always been classified as processors for servers and workstations. When it comes to gaming, Opterons suck. Not anymore!
