Default 386!!!! error

What is a 386 error message mean? I look at microsofts website, but naturally gives me what the error actually says and no solution. Any input.

Is this the whole error? Is it a blue screen error, or just an error when you are doing something- loading the OS, performing other tasks on the computer, etc. Please give the entire error. I've never seen just a 386 error.

well if it's doing a file check like using the windows sfc and it's asking for the cd to relace a system file using the X:\i386 , where x is the cd-rom drive.

if this is the case, i would just use the browser button and redirect it to the windows folrder on the hhd for the i386 folder. example would be:

d:\i386 to c:\windows\system32\i386

you can also copy the i386 cab from the cd to the windows system folder
