western digital caviar SATA 3gb/s 80gb
$45
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16822135106

Zalman 7000b-cu cpu cooler (friend had one and said it worked great for minor oc'ing)
$40
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16835118119

Zalman 80mm case fan(i have a spot in my case for one so i might as well just to keep temps even further down
$5

now total that is $375...and from what it looks like i should b playing bf2 on medium/low graphics (maybe higher later if get new RAM) at around 70fps

Watch out for TigerDirect rebates.. they only work in a certain time period and sometimes you don't even receive your products in time enough to send away the rebate. It's happened to me before.

xiggy. you make so many threads about this. get a 7600gt, it's a great card. the price is great for it, really. i was playing prey today at the highest settings possible without even one hitch! the card is great. theres no need for anything better.
