Hi,

I was wondering since u can only run 3.25 gigs of ram on a 32bit OS is it worth it to buy a new 64 bit OS and use 8gb of corsair ram?

A 64bit OS will not run on a 32bit computer. Contrary to some's belief you won't get the extra 4 gigs. Save up your money and build a 64bit system.

So does that mean when the processor says "Processor Data Width=64 bit" thats a 64bit system? What do I need for a 64 bit system?

---------- Post added at 08:03 PM ---------- Previous post was at 08:02 PM ----------

Can I build a system put 32 bit os on and then 4-5 months later upgrade to 64? on the same pc?

Thx for ur help

Don't worry mate, you're still learning.
