That's insane. I might get me one of these since I've got an endless music collection begging to be on a single HD.

Whoa! I would get that, but I wouldn't use all that space really. I have a 320gb HDD plus a backup 75gb.

If I upgrade, I'll be going to 1tb.

oh ... still, isnt too bad. even the cheapest 1tb hdds are £70 here. 2 of those would be £140, and im sure you could get a 2tb drive a little cheaper. isnt that much of a gap

The prices have dropped a considerable amount since last year. They go for about $140 at the cheapest right now for an external. Wise to wait though.
