@ OP, I,m having the same issue at present, although my memory is spec'd to run 1333MHz at 7-7-7-20-1N, and does so with 2x 1GB in there, it will not boot at anything lower than CAS8 with 4GB.

I suggest you back off your oc and try running at 800MHz at 5-5-5-15-2N, if you can boot at that then the next decision is to try tighter timings (4-4-4-12-2N) or overclock to a higher frequency or a bit of both.

I tried it with no OC, no difference. I will try adjusting hte timings and the new BIOS tonight

Have you tried to run Memtest86+?

I would restore you BIOS to default, and flash it to the latest version.

I am going to try and flash it to the latest version now. Need to get a Win98 BootFloppy...
