Default 250gb external hdd

yea but I went to Circuit City in search of a 34 dollar 1gb thumb drive, but the only thumb drive that they had that was 1gb was like 70 bucks, and my dad was like forget this for 30 more dollars you can have a 250gb external hd so I thought about it and i said ok, so I bought it woot but windows only reads it as being 232 gb instead of 250 :'(, o well

it's actually 232gb because if you count the bytes, it's like 1,024 bytes per kilobyte, not actually 1,000 bytes and if you continue that pattern until you hit gigs, you see a significant difference.

i'm a little pooped. cuz my ipod is suppose dto have 2gigs of storage, but it only has 1.8 gigs.. 200 megs of music is a lot.. and a lot wasted it is at that. so yeah , hope i helped.

btw, nice job on the good deal.
