Smile 2 simple (I'm sure) q's re xp

Hi, just got a new computer with xp on - bit new to this so please bear with me.
1) There are 5 users in our house and we share many of the same programs - All programs are installed under my user, but how do I put an icon on the other users desktop for that program so that they can access it without logging on as me.
2) I use a spyware program, again it was installed under my user - does this mean when other users logon they are not protected ?

Whenever you install something, you should get a menu saying do you want it just for yourself, or other users. If that doesn't work, simply drag the item into the windows Shared Folder. It should be available to all the users.

By the way, welcome to CF.

The best argument against evolution are creationists themselves. They prove that life is devolving rather than evolving.
