A cable splitter is for two monitors, but the catch is: The video card is still connected as one. It can only clone it

The two monitor thing just can't be beaten, although if you put a second graphics card in would you be able to run 4 monitors with extended desktops??

omfg i remember that image!!!nah what that is, is multiple computers connected via network playing a specific multiple moniter game...hence loads of destops below the desktop

as for the Sli question about 4 moniters, unfortunatly the second pci-e slot doest have display enabled it on so when sli is enabled dvi and vga disabled...this just increases performance of second card but restricts you to 2 screens extended desktop

Windows 98 itself can take 9 monitors on a single computer
