Default 1st time building a computer need help with finding parts

i have a budget of about 800 and i have found a processor that i like, the i5 650 and i was wondering what would good with it to maximize its life well still good at multitasking and gaming

Spend a little bit more and go for the Intel Core i5-750. You'll get quad core and 8MB cache, for the extra you pay it's worth it.

Team it with a Gigabyte GA-P55M-UD2 and some nice 4GB 1,600MHz DDR3 RAM to start you off.
