According to reviews, yes. It won't do as well as high-end boards, but you'll be able to do some overclocking.

Well Thanks for helping me but i have one more question.
If i upgrade the processor to a 3.4 GHZ and put in a asus motherboard what will my psu have to be at? (Watts)

The difference in power draw is negligibly small. Stick with the 955 though. It's the exact same chip as the higher clocked phenom II x4s, so they will overclock the same.

What asus board?

Why? You'll see no practical performance difference. The only thing you may get is an extra 100 MHz or so out of the processor, but even then, it's kinda iffy and won't do much to help.

If you can really spend another $130, use it to upgrade your GPU. You'll see huge performance gains there.
