Angry 16 Bit Windows Sub system.

Hiya,

I went onto the Epson website to download a driver for the Epson Stylus Photo 895 i started to install it. And i got this error message up

16 bit windows sub system.

C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\AUTOEXEC.NT. The system file is not sutiable for running MS-DOS and Microsoft Windows applications. Click close to Terminate the application.


I Am running Windows XP Home (2002 Version, SP2) on a Fujutsu Siemans, Scaleo L.

Celeron Processor
CPU: 260 GHz
248 MB of Ram (2.62 GHz)

Recopy Autoexec.NT It got corrupted

What do you mean recopy Autoexec, how?

Copy C:\WINDOWS\Repair\Autoexec.nt

And paste it into :

C:\WINDOWS\System32

Click yes...here you go! I had this problem and it turned out to be a bad install

I am away from that computer till Monday, i will let you know how i get on, Is there any special place in system32 i need to put it??
