Picture loads a bit slow, my bad.

But heres the specs written down.

LiteOn DVD Burner - $17.99
GIGABYTE GZ-F3HEB ABS ATC Mid Tower Case - $19.99 with rebate
500GB Western Digital - 7200rpm, 64mb cache - $89.95
Asrock 970-DE3/USB3 AM3+ with SATA III (6Gbps support) - $59.99 with rebate
EVGA GTX 550Ti 1GB OC - $124.99
APEVIA ATC-CB700W PSU - $39.99
Mouse comes free - $0
Corsair XMS3 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 1600 - $46.99
AMD Phenom II x4 955 3.2GHz - $89.99
LOGISYS Cooler for aforementioned CPU - $13.99

Guys, if you think I've skimped out on the PSU or anything, don't hesitate to say, just trying to help him out

EDIT: If he wanted, he could use the PSU he picked originally, and it'd be under $550

That's a solid build. Here's another option for about $30 more. Using everything else you picked out, changing the board, CPU, RAM and GPU.

Newegg.com - BIOSTAR A75MG FM1 AMD A75 (Hudson D3) SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 Micro ATX AMD Motherboard

Newegg.com - HIS H679F1GD Radeon HD 6790 1GB 256-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.1 x16 HDCP Ready CrossFireX Support Video Card with Eyefinity

Newegg.com - Mushkin Enhanced Redline 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1866 (PC3 14900) Desktop Memory Model 997007

Newegg.com - AMD A8-3870K Unlocked Llano 3.0GHz Socket FM1 100W Quad-Core Desktop APU (CPU + GPU) with DirectX 11 Graphic AMD Radeon HD 6550D AD3870WNGXBOX

If OP wants, he can hold off on the video card for now and add one later for a hybrid Crossfire setup. The integrated Radeon HD 6550D is very capable of some gaming.
