Default 128 bit/64 bit

hi, can anyone explain to me what 128/64 bit in 128mb DDR 128/64 bit video card stands for? does that affect the performance of your video card? if yes, whats the difference between 64bit video cards to 128 bit videocards... thanks...

It's the width of the memory bus. 128 bit is double the bandwidth of 64 bit.

It has everything to do with the speed of your graphics card. Graphics card speed is only really important if you are doing graphically intensive activity's such as games or running vista.

I just want to add that if you are looking to do gaming I'd recommend you go with 256bit or higher.. nothing lower then that..

Yeah go ahead and get 256 bit if you can find it.

I assume you are browsing through the 8 series of the GeForce line? 8400GS?
