Default 12-drive RAID storage box...

...I was thinking about getting the Norco DS-1220, but if I put 12 300gb hard drives in it on Raid 6, totaling out to about 3tb, will it work on a Windows XP Home desktop computer?

Well yeah, because it's more an external thing..maybe you could ask the people who actually make the box..but im 99% it will work..

Why would you need that much space lol

It connects to a pci card that has 4 sata channels of it's own just to connect to the box. But the cost alone is outragous. $840.00USD just for the box. Then figure 150 to 200 a pop for drives and you got a lot of money in that thing. Anywhere from 3 grand on up depending on the drives you install.
