Question 1000 Gaming PC - Did I do well?

Hi guys, have followed on from my previous post with my 500 budget - I have made provisions for another 500 so I have updated the spec:

AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core FX62 2.80GHz - 487.61

DFI LanParty UT NF590 SLI-M2R/G - 149.21

EVGA GeForce 7600 GS 512MB DDR2 HDTV-Out/DVI - 103.39

Maxtor MaxLine III NCQ 250GB 7V250F0 SATA-II 16MB Cache - 55.21

Thermaltake VA3000BWA Tsunami Dream SuperMidi Aluminium Tower - 75.19

Antec NeoHE 430W Modular ATX2.0 PSU - 62.26

Crucial 2GB (2x1GB) DDR2 PC2-4200C4 Dual Channel Kit - 164.49

= 1042.15

Do you think that this build will be really good at gaming, video editing and photo editing? If not, or if you know of any better components, please could you tell me! All feedback is welcome!

Regards,
James.

(P.S Already have optical drives and do not require large HDD)

Your Videocard is weak

Get a 7600GT its not much more.

otherwise get a X1950 Pro $200.00 USD

Also most people will probally reccomend a Core2 Duo over the FX62 as the core2 is faster, but you will have to get a differnt board then.

SocketT i belive.....

definitely core 2 duo. E6600 will be alot cheaper, and the performance will be about the same. And with the extra money u get from that u could go for a better vid card.
