Download the demo. It's very good. In fact, download Doom 3 as well. Play them both.

For $1000 I don't think getting a rig to handle those high-end games is possible.

Ya I didn't think so. The more research I do, the more I'm glad I prefer console gaming. It seems like you have to have a 3k computer to do any serious gaming.

I have more money, but I've decided only to spend $1000. I could probably go up alittle bit if it was crucial, but im pretty set on staying around 1k.
