Default 1 hard drive missing

Hi guys so I installed Win7 and now in "computer" I see c:, and d: but I am missing my 1TB hard drive. Where did it go? Also in c drive I have something that says "windows.old". I did choose "delete" and "format" before installing win7 to make sure I had a fresh windows. Any advice would be greatly appreciate as always. Thank you.

I see your 1tb hard drive on the image you posted, it's the "New Volume disk 1" 931 gb, NTFS partition. From all that it looks like it's all formatted and ready to go. Just give it a letter and a name and you'll be set.

I still have the same old HP DV9700T laptop I've had for years...still kickin'
