Um.. what?

So, all I got out of that was laptop.

What kind of gaming? Light, hardcore, LAN Party every weekend gaming? Or just need to outdo your friends type graphics?

Do you need a laptop?

Do you have computer experience to make a PC if you dont need the mobility of a laptop?

What is your budget?

For $1500 I got an HP dv8000 with a Core Duo at 1.83 GHz, 1 gb ram, and a Geforce GO 7600, and plays BF2 and NFS: Most wanted decently.

Why get a Core Duo when you can get a Core 2 Duo?

thats why you wait They are right around the corner. Meroms should be out, and they will be so much better than Yonahs.

Meh. For the Core 2 Duo's, you'll be trading performance for thermal efficiency. The Merom actually uses more energy and produces more heat than the Yonah core. Of course, no one can complain about the performance. :P
