Default website hosting

I am thinking about buying a domain from Godaddy for my website. My question is would I need to buy the web-hosting to? Right now I am going to use front page? So i guess my question would be do I need to buy the domain and web-hosting?

I would better not put all the eggs in one basket. if you are looking for web hosting provider, can recommend you to check hosteasier.com cheap web hosting solutions. you will get FREE domain.
Your sites will be always online and your host will not get on your nerves.

well couldnt i just get the Domain from Godaddy and use Front page for editing?

Then all you will have to do is change the dns servers to your web hosts' dns servers.
