Default IIS help

I have iis on my windows xp pro machine...

How can I have my own website and FTP site with this?

I am a COMPLETE NOOB, and need any help...

First of all, to host your own server your computer will need to have your own STATIC IP address.

Secondly, are you behind a router? You'll need to configure your Firewalls accordingly to allow incoming UDP/TCP traffic.

Thirdly, FTP is short for "file transfer protocol", you'll have to setup your ports to allow incoming traffic on port (23 I think?)

Do some research. Google is a good friend.
