DiscountASP.NET announces the launch of RicherComponents RichSlider v1.0. We have added the RichSlider component on all our web servers and it is available to all our customers at no cost.

RichSlider is the first visual slider built for the ASP.NET platform. It provides a familiar user interface to end users. It can be configured visually, works horizontally and vertically, works both in a stepped and smooth action, is cross-browser compatible, and even works with the mouse wheel.

You can check out a live demo of the RichSlider Component at: http://www.richercomponents.com/RichSlider/demos/0/Default.aspx

ASP.NET Web hosting at DiscountASP.NET starts at $10 per month.

Experience the Power of ASP.NET for Less

I think there is only 1 person on this forum who wants ASP - the rest of us are happy with good old php.

Not sure of the stats on programming preferences. We do support Classic ASP but we specialize in ASP.NET hosting and SQL hosting.

There are many articles being written about many PHP developers that are moving to ASP.NET.

We continue to evaluate and add useful ASP.NET components for our customers.

You are not allowed to add a link at the bottom of every post - that's why it's disabled in your signature.

Anyway, the vast majority of the people I know prefer php!

Sorry about the signature. There are many developers using PHP, but there are also a growing number of developers using ASP.NET and there are many PHP programmers moving to ASP.NET as well. We have many customers who have told us this as well.

ASP.NET is very cool. There are many online resources for those that want to learn more about ASP.NET.
