Counter Strike Condition Zero server help please

ok, today im getting a server from my friend..its a quad processer 2 gig of ram and thats all i kno..the processors are all Pentium 3 Xeon 600mhz a piece...my first question is will this server handle counter strike condition zero dedicated server..if so what should i do to set it up..i used my computer as a server beofre and i kno that u go into tools (in steam) and install dedicated server and than install AMX mod X..but everytime i did this my ip showed up with a wierd port when u find the server in the steam list..the port was like 63305 or something when usually its 27015..do i have to open ports or what?!..oo yea and that port number changed everytime closed the server and re-opened it..i have a D-link DI-624 router...thank you so much for taking the time to read this..

if you could point me in the right direction it would be great!!!!!!!!!!

yes it will run fine.
And the reason that the ip will change is that u have a dynamic ip address, I don't know if there is any simple way to change this. The best thing would be to contact ur ISP, though using a static ip will probably cost more, or atleast changing from dynamic to static might cost a little.

No the ip doesnt change the port does so say if one day the ip is 0000000:27015 (the numbers after the colon is the port number) the next day it will be 000000:25187

Theres something wrong with your server then becuase most dedicated servers don't do that. Did you make sure you configred your server with and also your game servers because this should never ever happen.

Either its your firewall blocking the port and then moving it to the next one, or its something that you did while setting it up. Why dont you just order servers from a game server place I know alot of good solid places that offer servers for cheap, if you search you can find a good home. Or have them host the serverfor you..
