Default Vista or 7

I have 32 bit vista but I can get 7 for free.

Ok.

This really isn't that hard. And I use XP Pro. Only used Vista a few times.

Windows 7 is much better than Vista!

Uh if its free than what is stopping ya?

Now are you getting a free upgrade or full version cuz if its only an upgrade you will have to get win 7 32bit cuz you cant upgrade from 32 to 64 you will have to do a clean install.

Win 7 is better than vista IMO. Its a lil faster and has some new cool features.

There's 2 completely different arguments here - 32 bit vs. 64 bit and Vista vs. 7. The latter in my mind is no contest, 7 is essentially a more efficient and generally better version of Vista. There's very few legitimate reasons I can think of as to why anyone would choose Vista over 7 these days.

32 bit vs. 64 bit on the other hand - well that depends on your requirements, but it's been discussed many times before...
