Default TRS sound recorder?

Hey!

I have an organ at my home, and when I record the sound with a normal camcorder, the sound quality is not very high. But when I play with earphones in, is suddenly sounds ~351 times as beautiful. Now, my question is, is there some sort of recorder I can buy that I can connect to my headphone port (TRS 3.5 mm I think) that can record the audio directly from the organ?

Thanks in advance,

-Mvf314

P.S. I hope this is the right category. If it isn't, can a mod please move it?

Does your computer have a microphone (3.5MM jack) on the back? I used to just use that to connect, although I still experienced a pretty decent quality loss. But that was many years ago.

Then I would look here: 3.5mm Jack Voice Recorder, 3.5mm Jack Voice Recorder Suppliers and Manufacturers at Alibaba.com

Not only will you find a recorder, but cables and adapters as well.

EDIT
To be clear, I mean to start your search there so that you will know what is best for you. They may not have the best prices.

Thats the idea, but the answer will depend on the systems you are trying to use. I found trial and error was the only way to get true results.
