Television Advice: 32'' Vs 37''

Alright so right now I am comparing two TV's to buy. Both are around 540$ before tax and both are Insignia brand. Honestly I don't know much about TV's so any advice would be welcome.

Just a little environment info is that it will be in a room about 20' by 20' with no natural lighting. In the fall, I will be taking it to my dorm which I imagine to be around the same situation. Now the two TV's

37'': 1080p 60hz 4k:1 Contrast (though I think this was a typo at bestbuy, because online was 1400:1 and both those seem a low)

32'': 1080p 120hz 10k:1 Contrast

So my thoughts stem at the hz and contrast. How important or noticeable will the extra 60 hz be? I plan to use it for my ps3 and blue ray movies. I know the contrast is something you have to see to judge, but honestly I couldn't tell a HUGE difference between em.

37'': http://www.bestbuy.com/site/Insigni...HDTV/9144366.p?id=1218035841426&skuId=9144366

32'': http://www.bestbuy.com/site/Insigni...HDTV/9329657.p?id=1218085897178&skuId=9329657

The higher the refresh rate is (measured in hz) the less likely you are to see flicker.

Well, if you want my opinion (haven't heard back from you so I really don't know), I wouldn't buy either. Insignia is the like off-brand's offbrand of brands. Haha. When I buy major purchases (TVs, DVD players, Monitors, etc.), I go with something well known or nothing. I stick to Sony, Samsung, LG, Panasonic, etc. It's not that it's just the brands I'm worried about, but support as well. If you want me to recommend you something, I can. You'll need to give me a budget.

If your going to be playing video games or watching a lot of sports I'd go with the 32" but the two brands I would buy is Samsung, or Panasonic. Sony is overrated and LG is just downright silly. But if you are choosing between these two TV's we'll need more information to help you.
