Default Speakers

I have speakers that I think are designed for a desktop but they work on my laptop. They have 3 plugs, the black, green, and one. My laptop only has one plug. The speakers work if I use any of them, but the sound skips a bit. Is there some kind of adapter I can buy that would let me plug all three in? Would that even help?

Default Re: Speakers

I am guessing the speakers u have is 5.1 system (the three pins indicate the centre, side and rear speakers of a 5.1 system) I don't think u will be able to use all the potential of the speakers on a laptop.
