What do you guys recomend speaker wise? Any brand in particular or model?

the bass is really powerful, and it sounds really good at high volumes.

I'm a hardcore gamer so i guess i would say they would be used for gaming and i would listen to some music

well technically you can use any speakers with a computer. if they are speakers you hook up to a reciever then you canjust connect your pc audio to the audio input on the receiver. so if you find speakers that arent "made for computers" don worry you can still user them on your computer.

That's true, but it has to be the right size plug, I dunno if some high-end systems use the big plugs or not, but if you get one of those, you'll need a converter.

Anyway, the ones I use are JBL Creature II's in black. They have really nice highs and good bass if you adjust it right, and it matches perfectly with my case. They are kinda pricey for a 2.1 system but it sounds really good to me. I got them for $90.
