Sony walkman

I recently bought a sony walkman NW - E003 mp3 player and it was all fine untill it came up with no database and it wont let me do a thing with it now can anyone help? maybe if anyone knows where i could get it back? i sound like such an idiot asking this!

Is the problem with the software on the pc or the actual player? Heres a link to the troubleshooting page at sony for your player, maybe ya can find a solution there

Its when i turn on the player it says NO DATABASE! and wont let me do anything with it. When its plugged into the computer it lets me add things onto it but when i unplug and turn it on to play it come's up with NO DATABASE! il try the website though thanxs x

Just had a look in the manual online, and your answer is near the back of the manual. I would copy/paste it for ya but it wont let me. Its in the operation guide page 66 in the book
