Default Scanner

How is this?

I got it as a promo in my email.

Anyways, I need something for old photographs. Most 5x7's, and alot of them being dark.

I need something that isnt professional, but something is damn good.

Would this work?

If not, link me to something please. I was hoping less then 150-200$
