Hi. So yesterday I brought a 42" Samsung TV. It has a fault where the screen has a strong green tint to it making it almost impossible to use. But when I open the service menu the colours are fine in the menu. I have tried resetting it via the menu but the green tint still exist. As you can see in the picture the colours in the menu are fine but the colours of the game is all green. Appreciate any help... Sam uploadfromtaptalk1405691637261.jpg

Can you hook it up to another device to verify it's the TV and not the game console?

Ensure that all the cords are pushed all the way in and/or are tight.

If it's new, why not take it back and have it replaced?

1. I brought the TV with the fault. Anything that I connect is green.

2. Done that hundreds of times.

3. It was brought in 2004 :/

Sounds like a bad tv then. I can't help with that....sorry

Depending on the model of it you maybe able to take it to a tv/electronics repair shop and they maybe able to order in the necessary parts and fix it for you.

You could certainly start with any bulging caps. That honestly might do the trick. I've fixed a couple of "dead" TVs with $5.00USD worth of caps. It takes couple hours of disassembly and soldering, but if you need a TV or wanna make $50, it might be worth it!
