Thanks

It was more or less a birthday present to myself.

I knew I wanted the Ps3 really, really badly but to actually enjoy the Ps3, you had to have the HDTV for it.

I decided that I would get more use and enjoyment out of a TV, $20 a month Dish Network HD, and a $30 DVD Upconverter rather then a Ps3 with a 480p Television.

So I got set for it, and I got this for XMas, because my parents knew I wouldnt be able to afford it on my own for a very long while.

I preffer it laying it down, because it's rather my likings. I preffer to have the most controls and dashes in front of me rather than it's side looking. But since the PS3 is slot loaded, standing up won't bother.

It looks a bit weird both up and down with it behind the TV. I think I like the vertical look better though. Did you have to buy a stand for a vertical mount or do the PS3's stand up on there own?

i would prefer lying down so as not to get damage from getting knocked over.

Hey, that looks just like my ps3!...

I'd lay it down.....it's far too expensive a unit to risk having it fall over and damage it. It's just more stable that way.

Which model did you get?
