Pls Help Me

I have an external hard drive 120 gb

it was working fine a few days ago but now when i insert it it says dat

usb device is not recognised by the computer


why is this hapining pls help me asap

sounds to me like your having the usb driver daze. i would if i were you open up devise manager ->> right click my computer >> manage >> click on devise manager >> click on universal serial bus controllers >> look for removable storage or storage devise and un-install the driver(s). then just reboot.
