Default No Vents on this TV box?

Hi guys; i've just ordered an Top of the line Android TV BOX,but i notice that it's completely sealed no heat vents, it's not usual to see no vents either on top or on the bottom of the boxes for heat ventilation,myself never saw one,will this be a factor for life short span of the box?

Most likely the case itself is one giant heat sink.

It's basically a smart phone without a screen or radio.
Not many phones have vents.

Thanks Technician;what do you think if i drill some holes on the bottom of the box but after warranty expires just for precaution,i always use small 5 v fans connected to the USB port under most of my hardware?

Adding holes adds dust access points. Better to keep it closed and clean, if your house is extremely hot inside (90-110), add a fan blowing across it if you like.

Thank Technician,i checked the temp on the box after 4 hours running with a small 5 v fan underneath and it's on the 130F,.

Yes, that's one thing to consider, the ambient temp. It has to be acceptable for it to cool.

If the manufacturer has sealed the device then heating probably isn't a problem. Most likely increases the lifespan as previously mentioned as dust cannot compromise the cooling!

Just try not to stick it in direct sunlight or in a stupidly hot area.
